titleOfInvention Plastic optical transmitter and method of manufacturing the same
abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] A transparent non-polymerizable compound having a refractive index different from that of the polymer is contained in the transparent polymer, and the refractive index continuously changes depending on the concentration distribution of the non-polymerizable compound. A plastic optical transmission medium having a region which comprises a non-polymerizable compound having a higher refractive index than the polymer and a non-polymerizable compound having a lower refractive index than the polymer. [Effect] A plastic optical transmission body having not only excellent light-transmitting properties but also stable temperature characteristics and heat resistance durability and having a continuous refractive index distribution inside. Furthermore, it can be easily manufactured.
