An ink raw material composition to be contained in a heat-meltable ink used for a thermal transfer recording medium, wherein a colorant 30 to 60 is contained. % By weight, copolymer of α-olefin and maleic anhydride 1 0 to 30 wt% and 100 cp viscosity at 100 cps A raw material composition for hot-melt ink, characterized in that a mixture of the following waxes of 30 to 60% by weight is dispersed in a molten state by using a grinding type disperser.
