titleOfInvention | Enteric-coated preparation coated with solvent-free enteric coating agent using powder or pellet wax |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Structure] An enteric coated preparation in which powdered or pelletized waxes are sprayed on a solid drug and heated to a temperature equal to or higher than its melting point to coat a fine powdery enteric coating agent. [Effect] An enteric coated preparation having acid resistance can be obtained by a solventless coating which does not require drying in a short time. Therefore, it is not necessary to dry the solvent and the coating time is short, so that the manufacturing process can be shortened. In addition, the solvent-free coating can be applied to drugs that are unstable to water and organic solvents. Further, there is an advantage that it is not necessary to use a surfactant or the like which is commonly used as a dispersant in an aqueous enteric coating. |
