titleOfInvention Method for producing positive electrode active material for alkaline storage battery
abstract (57) [Summary] [Objective] It is an object to provide a method for producing a nickel positive electrode active material for an alkaline storage battery, which can improve charge-discharge cycle characteristics after over-discharge. [Configuration] Particles containing nickel hydroxide as a main component and particles containing at least cobalt are mechanically dry mixed, and at least part or all of the surface of the particles containing nickel hydroxide as a main component is subjected to a mechanochemical reaction. It is characterized in that after physically coating with particles containing cobalt, the coated particles are heated in the presence of an aqueous alkaline solution.
