abstract | (57) [Summary] [Structure] A coating of an alkoxysilane compound having a carboxylic acid ester group at the terminal represented by the general formula (I) is formed on the surface of an inorganic powder (eg, ultrafine particle silica, titania, etc.), then the ester group in hydrolysis or pyrolysis by coating (-COOR 3) is decomposed into a carboxylic acid group (-COOH), introducing a carboxylic acid group on the powder surface. [Chemical 7] In the formula, R 1 is an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, and R 2 is 1 to 6 carbon atoms. R 3 is an alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms or an alkylsilyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms in each alkyl group, X is —O—, —S—, or —N (R 4 )- (Wherein R 4 is H or — (CH 2 ) r—COOR 3 group), and m is 1 ~ 3, n is an integer from 0 to 2 (however, m + n = 3), p is 2 or 3, q is an integer of 1 to 4, and r is 0 or 1. [Effect] Hydrophilicity is improved and dispersibility in water or aqueous resin liquid is improved. Useful as a basic scavenger, deodorant, and metal ion scavenger. |
