(57) [Abstract] [Purpose] An object of the present invention is to provide a method for recovering terephthalic anhydride, which is capable of efficiently recovering industrially useful terephthalic anhydride. [Structure] The method for recovering terephthalic anhydride is to heat and discard waste polyethylene terephthalate and to add heated steam to hydrolyze it to separate and recover terephthalic anhydride. |
