Protein with tyrosine kinase activity |
abstract |
(57) [Abstract] [Purpose] The above Jak family kinase and Stat were investigated by exploring molecules related to Stat protein. Elucidation of signal transduction pathways that utilize family proteins, and study of their application to medicinal uses by clarifying the mechanism by which information from cytokines and growth factors is transduced into the nucleus of cells . [Structure] The following properties: (1) molecular weight is 72 kD; (2) binds to Stat protein; (3) is tyrosine phosphorylated by various cytokines; and (4) protein having tyrosine kinase activity . |
