abstract |
(57) [Abstract] [Purpose] To provide a nickel-hydrogen storage battery having a long life and excellent high rate discharge characteristics. A positive electrode containing nickel oxide or nickel hydroxide, a negative electrode containing a hydrogen storage alloy, a separator inserted between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and an electrolytic solution composed of an alkaline aqueous solution are provided. Nickel-metal hydride storage battery containing sulfide in the negative electrode. The progress of corrosion of the negative electrode alloy can be stopped and the life characteristics can be significantly improved. |
