(57) Abstract: A method for suppressing corrosion of naphthenic acid-containing hydrocarbons such as various crude oils at high temperatures is provided. A method for suppressing corrosion by naphthenic acid in a high temperature hydrocarbon system, comprising: a) formula: Where R 1 and R 2 are each independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and groups having 1 to 30 carbon atoms, and R 3 is a group having 1 to 30 carbon atoms.
