abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] [1α, 5α, 6α] -3-benzyl-3-azabicyclo [3.1.0] hexane-2,4-dione- A method for producing the same, which comprises reacting 6-carboxylic acid and 1,2,3-cyclopropanetricarboxylic acid with benzylamine. According to the present invention, a novel compound [1α, 5α, 6α] -3-benzyl-3-azabicyclo [3.1.0] hexane-2,4-useful as an intermediate for the production of antibacterial substances is obtained. A dione-6-carboxylic acid is provided, and further a simple and industrially advantageous production method thereof is provided.
