abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] An adhesive composition that enables excellent adhesion of poorly-adhesive fibers such as polyester fibers and aramid fibers to rubber in a single-bath process, and a productive product produced using the same. We provide a cord / rubber composite. [Structure] (i) Aqueous mixture of resorcinol / formaldehyde initial condensate and rubber latex, and (ii) Substantially organic epoxy resin which is solid at room temperature, has an epoxy equivalent of 300 or less, and is substantially insoluble in water. A fiber-rubber adhesive composition used in a one-bath treatment comprising a solvent-free aqueous dispersion, and a cord-rubber composite obtained using the same.
