(57) [Summary] [Purpose] A novel anti-tumor activity against human cancer cells, in particular, selective inhibition of proliferation of cervical cancer cells developed by infection with HPV. A variety of antibiotics. [Structure] By culturing a hydroxymycotrienin-producing bacterium, hydroxymycotrienin A or hydroxymycotrienin B represented by the following general formula (I) is obtained. Hydroxymycotrienin A or B selectively acts on human cervical cancer, especially HPV + cervical cancer to inhibit its growth, but has low acute toxicity and no antibacterial activity. General formula (I): [Wherein R 1 and R 2 are each a hydrogen atom or the following formula: In the hydroxymycotrienin A, R 1 is the group of the above formula (II) and R 2 is a hydrogen atom, but in the hydroxymycotrienin B, R is 1 is a hydrogen atom and R 2 is a group of the above formula (II)]. |
