(57) [Summary] [Object] The present invention does not substantially decompose a nitrogen-containing organic compound even when it is stored for a long time after formulation while maintaining the preferable characteristics of the non-azide type gas generating agent. Moreover, it is an object of the present invention to provide a gas generating agent for an air bag, which can reduce both CO concentration and NOx concentration in the produced gas. The gas generating agent for airbags of the present invention is a non-azide gas generating agent containing a nitrogen-containing organic compound and an oxidizing agent as active ingredients, and contains molybdenum oxide as a combustion catalyst. |
