abstract | (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] To provide a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin foam excellent not only in tensile strength but also in compression strength. [Structure] A core layer 1 made of a thermoplastic resin foam having a closed cell ratio of 60% or more, and a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin fused to the surface of the core layer 1 so as to cover the outer peripheral surface of the core layer 1. With the structure including the skin layer made of resin, the compression load is borne by the cell wall of the foam of the core material layer 1, and the compression strength as a whole is improved. |
