abstract | (57) [Summary] (Modified) [Structure] In a heat-sensitive recording material containing an electron-donating color-forming compound and an electron-accepting compound, the salicylic acid derivative represented by the general formula (1) is used as the electron-accepting compound. A heat-sensitive recording material containing at least one selected from the metal salts of the derivatives, and further containing a compound represented by the general formula (2). (In the formula, X 1 and X 2 are a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, an aralkyl group, an aryl group or a halogen atom; Y 1 and Y 2 are an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom; 1 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aralkyl group or an aryl group, and R 2 represents an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an aralkyl group or an aryl group) Ar 1 —NH—SO 2 —Ar 2 (2) (in the formula, Ar 1 and Ar 2 each represent an aryl group) [Effect] A heat-sensitive recording material having excellent color-developing sensitivity and excellent storage stability of an uncolored portion and a colored image is provided. |
