abstract | (57) [Summary] [Structure] The following formula (I) (In the formula, R 1 and R 2 represent a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group, and R 3 represents a lower alkyl group) A deodorant containing a hydroxyalkene compound as an active ingredient. [Effect] The deodorant of the present invention is particularly effective against hydrogen sulfide odor and has a higher deodorant effect than conventional oil-based deodorants. Therefore, it can be deodorized by spraying it on a household odor source such as a toilet or kitchen, or a odor source such as a sewage treatment plant, a refuse treatment plant, or a livestock house.
