titleOfInvention Method for producing cast coated paper
abstract (57) [Summary] [Objective] To provide a method for producing cast coated paper which has excellent white paper gloss, excellent quality without uneven gloss and uneven ink absorption, and excellent operability. [Structure] An undercoat layer is formed by coating a base paper with a coating composition containing a pigment and an adhesive as a main component, and then drying the layer. Next, calcium, magnesium, aluminum is added to the coating layer. An aqueous solution containing a metal salt selected from at least one of barium and zinc and / or a cationic resin as a main component is applied and dried, and then a coating liquid for casting mainly containing a pigment and an adhesive is applied. Then, while the coated layer is in a wet state, it is pressed against a heated mirror surface drum, dried and peeled to give a strong glossy finish, and a method for producing a cast coated paper.
