abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] A fibroblast growth factor-1 monoclonal antibody characterized by specifically reacting only with fibroblast growth factor-1 and a mammal immunized with fibroblast growth factor-1. A monoclonal antibody produced from a fused cell of an animal immune cell and a myeloma cell is reacted with a total protein produced from a transformant transformed with an expression vector containing a fibroblast growth factor-1 gene, A method for producing a fibroblast growth factor-1 monoclonal antibody, which comprises selecting among the above-mentioned monoclonal antibodies that specifically reacts only with fibroblast growth factor-1 in the total protein. [Effect] According to the present invention, an FGF-1 monoclonal antibody that specifically reacts with only FGF-1 can be obtained.
