abstract (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] To provide a method for manufacturing a large-scale building material that has both the ease of manufacturing that a cement-based material has and the design characteristics that a pottery has. [Constitution] Partial application of an aqueous solution of a transition metal component on the surface of a molding base or a firing base material obtained by kneading and molding a mixture containing cement, a flux component and an alumina-silica raw material as a main material. After that, a glaze is further applied to the entire surface of the forming base material or the firing base material and firing is performed, and the method for producing a cement-based large-scale firing building material is characterized.
