abstract | (57) [Summary] [Purpose] A polymer insulator that does not require complicated setting of vulcanization conditions, can be bonded easily and quickly, and has a large bonding strength and a stable bonding state. A joining method is provided. [Structure] An outer coating layer 19 made of silicone rubber is formed on a part of the outer circumference of a long FRP cylindrical body by the first molding. After the mold is opened, an adhesive is applied to the joint portion 21 at the end of the outer coat layer 19 and dried. Then The mold is clamped on the portion where the outer coat layer 19 is not formed, and the outer coat layer 20 is formed by coating. The adhesive applied to the joint portion 21 is 1 to 10 parts by weight of organic peroxide and 0 to 0 parts by weight of a reinforcing filler such as silica to 100 parts by weight of silicone rubber. Since 60 parts by weight is compounded, excellent adhesive strength can be obtained. |
