abstract | (57) [Summary] [Binder] The binder resin of the electrophotographic toner of the present invention contains a vinyl-based resin having a cross-linking structure, and the cross-linking structure has at least two bonds bonded through an aliphatic hydrocarbon. It contains a structure derived from a monomer having an ethylenically unsaturated group. [Effects] The resin of the present invention having a wide range of cross-links due to an aliphatic straight chain can be used in any of low-temperature fixability, heat resistance, durability, impact resistance, and offset resistance by using it as a binder resin. It gives excellent electrophotographic toners. This enables high quality electrophotographic image formation with low power consumption. |
