titleOfInvention Method for producing isophorone
abstract (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] To provide a method for efficiently producing isophorone in a state where the concentration of a basic catalyst, which causes corrosion of a reactive distillation column, is not increased. [Structure] In a method for producing isophorone, which is a three-molecule condensate of acetone, under high temperature, high pressure, and in the presence of a basic catalyst by a reactive distillation column, the amount of raw material charged increases with an increase in the production amount. Since the residence time decreases and the usage rate of acetone deteriorates, the lower layer water of the separated acumium withdrawal liquid was charged near the middle stage of the column for the purpose of recovering isophorone by hydrolysis of high boiling point components. The feature is that the main reaction area is secured by changing to the accumulator side. [Effect] The use rate of acetone as a raw material was significantly improved by changing the lower layer water inlet of the reactive distillation column of the present invention to the accumulator side.
