abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] An antibacterial action enhancement method comprising arranging a photo-soluble semiconductor in an aqueous liquid or in the air and irradiating it with light including ultraviolet rays. [Effect] According to the present invention, it is possible to increase the elution amount of metal ions from a photo-soluble semiconductor to enhance the antibacterial action. In particular, the antibacterial effect can be controlled by controlling the irradiation time and irradiation intensity of light including ultraviolet rays. The effect can be enhanced to a desired degree.
