abstract | It is an object of the present invention to provide a tunnel connection construction method and a tunnel connection segment capable of easily forming a large-scale tunnel. SOLUTION: A natural ground 72 between tunnels 70 which are excavated adjacent to each other at a predetermined interval is excavated and widened to form a tunnel 7. Connect 0s. In this case, at least one of the tunnel bodies 70 constituting the tunnel 70 is connected to the tunnel body 70. The mountain retaining plate 14 is press-fitted into the natural ground 72 in between to cover the natural ground 72 between the tunnels 70 to stop the water and retain the mountain. Next, the ground 72 surrounded by the mountain retaining plate 14 is excavated to widen and connect the tunnel 70. The mountain retaining plate 14 is reinforced by a beam member 14a to form a cantilever beam. |
