abstract (57) An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a microcapsule dispersion improved in terms of energy saving, length of emulsification time, and distribution curve of oil droplets. SOLUTION: An oil-in-water emulsion is prepared from an oily phase and an aqueous phase containing a substance to be encapsulated and a lipophilic substance capable of addition polymerization, and then a reaction raw material which is a partner necessary for addition polymerization is added to the aqueous phase. In addition, when producing a microcapsule dispersion by the interfacial addition polymerization method, an oil-soluble emulsifier is added to the oil phase before emulsification.
