abstract | (57) Abstract: When an aromatic polycarbonate prepolymer is produced by an interfacial polycondensation method, and the obtained aromatic polycarbonate prepolymer is produced by a melt polycondensation method, an aromatic polycarbonate prepolymer is produced under high vacuum. To provide a method for producing a high-quality aromatic polycarbonate having no residual solvent and no coloring at a high polymerization rate, which is stable for a long period of time with an apparatus having excellent sealing properties and easy maintenance. A method for producing an aromatic polycarbonate prepolymer obtained by an interfacial polycondensation method, in which the aromatic polycarbonate prepolymer is polymerized while freely falling from a porous plate. |
