abstract | (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] An image forming method capable of forming a high-definition, fog-free image by an image forming method based on ablation by using a laser beam as a recording light, and an image suitable for the image forming method. A recording transfer sheet and an image forming laminate are provided. An image recording having a photothermal conversion layer for converting laser light into heat, a heat-sensitive peeling layer containing a material that generates gas by the action of the heat, and an image forming layer containing a thermoplastic resin and a pigment on a support. A laminate of a transfer sheet (a function of a heat-sensitive peeling layer can also be introduced into the photothermal conversion layer) and an image receiving sheet, so that a large number of dots are present at the interface between the image forming layer and the image receiving sheet or the interface is finely divided. An image-forming laminate having a heat-fusible material formed so as to be divided into regions is prepared, the surface of the laminate is irradiated with laser light, and then the image-receiving sheet and the laser image-recording transfer sheet are separated. An image forming method comprising obtaining an image-receiving sheet in which a region to be irradiated with laser light of an image-forming layer is transferred by peeling. |
