Provided is a method for producing a new hybrid anthracycline antibiotic using a vector containing 11-hydroxylase and the above gene. [Structure] Streptomyces galileus, a microorganism producing an anthracycline antibiotic that does not exhibit aclavinone C-11 hydroxylase activity, is transformed, and the aclabinone C-11 hydroxylase gene is expressed in the transformed microorganism. And a method for producing a new hybrid anthracycline antibiotic, which comprises: and an antibiotic produced by this method.
