abstract (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] A main object of the present invention is to provide an effective method for forming various functional films on the surface of a resin product, and in particular, a relatively simple wet method. Another object of the present invention is to provide a method for forming a functional coating having excellent adhesiveness on a resin product without contaminating the working environment or the global environment with various processing steps. [Structure] A method for forming a functional coating on a resin product, which comprises treating the resin product in the following steps: (1) Step of introducing an acidic group into the resin product, (2) From the above step (1) (3) a step of treating the resin product from step (2) above with the metal ion-containing liquid, a step of subjecting the resin product from the step (2) to one of the following treatments: (a) a reduction treatment to form a metal coating on the resin product And (b) treatment with a sulfide-containing solution to form a metal sulfide film on the resin product, and (c) treatment with a hydroxide-containing solution, followed by heat treatment to obtain the resin.
