(57) [Summary] [Objective] When recovering the active ingredient in the offgas discharged from the step of hydroformylating an olefin to produce an aldehyde or the step of hydrogenating an aldehyde to produce an alcohol, the offgas pressure level and (EN) A method which can be applied to a wide range of operating conditions regardless of the amount, and can be realized with a low equipment cost. [Structure] The off-gas is brought into intimate contact with a high boiling by-product, a reaction solvent or water. [Effect] The active ingredient in off-gas can be efficiently transferred to a high boiling by-product or a reaction solvent and recovered. The active ingredient in the off-gas can be efficiently aggregated and recovered by utilizing the heat of vaporization of water. |
