titleOfInvention Glass materials, biological tissue substitutes and orthodontics
abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] Substitution of biological tissue that requires minimal deterioration of material properties in a poor environment such as the oral cavity, has a complicated shape like a dental restoration and requires high strength and aesthetics. Material and orthodontic material can be manufactured safely in a short time without using a special device. [Structure] SiO 2 , MgO, Al 2 O 3 and TiO 2 as a main component, SiO 2 : 40 to 65% by weight, MgO: 9 to 30% by weight, Al 2 O 3 : 8 to 31% by weight, TiO 2 : 6 to 15% by weight, and the formula I {100- (A + S + T)} / S ≧ 0.340 (A is Al 2 O 3 , S is SiO 2 , T is the weight percentage of TiO 2 ) and the formula II (S + M) / 4> 100− (S + M + A + T) (M is the weight percentage of MgO) and substantially contains fluorine. First, a glass material used to manufacture a biological tissue substitute or orthodontic material.
