abstract | (57) [Summary] [Structure] A glycoprotein produced by a single-celled green alga of the genus Chlorella outside the algal body, which contains a polysaccharide containing 70% or more of galactose as a constituent sugar and a protein. 60 to 80% content, 20 to 20 protein content Glycoprotein with 40%, isoelectric point below pH 4 and average molecular weight of 265,000. This glycoprotein is obtained by highly purifying the culture supernatant of Chlorella by various chromatographies and has high purity. [Effect] This glycoprotein has a strong antitumor effect and not only acts directly on the tumor but also has an antitumor effect by enhancing the defense function of the living body. Also, Since it is a highly stable substance having excellent heat resistance, acid resistance, and alkali resistance, it can be easily purified and formulated, and the storage period can be expected to be extended. |
