abstract | (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] It is possible to quickly and uniformly adjust the concentration of a high-viscosity coating solution such as a coating solution for a charge transport layer, and to provide a more uniform photosensitive material on the surface of a cylindrical substrate. Provided is a dip coating method in the production of an electrophotographic photosensitive member capable of forming a coating film. [Structure] A mixed solution is prepared by adding a solvent whose viscosity is ⅕ or less of the viscosity of the coating solution to a part of the coating solution having a viscosity of 50 cps or more, and then preparing the mixed solution with the coating solution. And the concentration of the coating liquid is adjusted, and the cylindrical substrate is immersed in the concentration-adjusted coating liquid. |
