abstract The invention relates to a digital lithographic printing plate by means of a thermal mass or dye transfer imaging mechanism from a donor sheet. According to the present invention, (a) a donor component consisting of a support material having a thermal transfer layer containing a photoactivator and a binder on one or more major surfaces; and (b) a thermoplastic crosslink on one or more major surfaces. There is provided a system comprising an image receiving component comprising a support having a hydrophilic photopolymer layer, the support having a microporous hydrophilic crosslinked silica coated surface.
