(57) [Abstract] [Purpose] To provide a light-sensitive material which has less color contamination, excellent color reproducibility, and less discoloration of the uncolored portion during image storage, and which does not deteriorate light fastness of a magenta color image. A silver halide characterized in that at least one photographic constituent layer contains an isomer mixture of dialkylhydroquinone obtained by reacting hydroquinone with an isomer mixture of a branched olefin having 9 to 20 carbon atoms.
