abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] A hair dye composition comprising (A) an acidic dye, (B) 2-hydroxybenzyl alcohol and (C) an acid, and having a pH of 2 to 6. [Effect] It has excellent dyeing properties, allows for uniform dyeing in a short time, has excellent dyeing fastness, is resistant to discoloration, and does not impair the texture of the dyed hair.
