abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] The wet developer of the present invention is obtained by dispersing copolymer resin particles composed of at least two kinds of monomer components containing a colorant in an electrically insulating dispersion medium, and In the wet developer, wherein the copolymer resin comprises a core portion insoluble in the electrically insulating dispersion medium and an outer edge portion that surrounds the core portion and dissolves or swells in the electrically insulating dispersion medium, the colorant is a fat. It is a carbon black surface-modified with a group polyvalent amine, and the copolymer resin contains a hydroxy group or a carboxyl group. [Effects] The wet developer of the present invention can make the adsorption of the resin and carbon black stronger, have more excellent dispersion stability without image deletion, and have no smooth roughness of the image during development. In addition, since the copolymer resin has excellent affinity with the dispersion medium, the wettability with respect to the dispersion medium is improved and the dispersion stability of the toner particles can be improved. , A wet type developer suitable for electrostatic printing and electrostatic recording.
