titleOfInvention High-concentration slurry of α-sulfo fatty acid alkyl ester salt and method for producing the same
abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] When neutralizing the α-sulfo fatty acid alkyl ester to produce a high-concentration aqueous slurry of the α-sulfo fatty acid alkyl ester salt (SF) having a concentration of 40 to 80%, Alkylbenzenesulfonic acid or a salt thereof is added to the neutralization step, or alkylbenzenesulfonic acid or a salt thereof is added to the SF after neutralization in an amount of 0.1 to 30% with respect to SF. According to the present invention, by adding alkylbenzene sulfonic acid or alkylbenzene sulfonate, a high-concentration α-sulfone having good fluidity and free from handling and quality problems during transportation and storage even at low temperature. A high-concentration slurry of fatty acid ester salt could be obtained.
