(57) [Summary] [Objective] To produce a polycarbonate having a wide range of molecular weight from a raw material polycarbonate by a redistribution method which does not result in the formation of harmful or environmentally unfavorable residues. The present invention provides a method for performing redistribution of polycarbonate and polycarbonate blends using a tetraorganophosphonium carboxylate salt. |
