abstract (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] To provide a filter paper for a high-performance air filter which satisfies both high dust collection efficiency and low pressure loss. [Structure] Inorganic fine particles having a particle size of 0.3 to 5.0 μm are added in an amount of 10 to 1000 ppm based on the weight of the binder to prepare a binder solution, and the binder solution is impregnated with the wet paper formed in the papermaking part. Then gauge pressure- Suction at 20 to -30 cmHg to obtain a filter paper for high performance air filters. Since the inorganic material fine particles having a particle diameter smaller than the thickness of the glass fibers are included together with the binder at the intersections where the glass fibers intersect, it is possible to have both high dust collection efficiency and low pressure loss.
