abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To provide a method for producing unsaturated carboxylic acid esters using an esterification reaction of an alcohol and an unsaturated carboxylic acid, which are excellent in yield and conversion. [Structure] In a fixed form separated into 1 to 10 stages, each stage is composed of a catalyst layer 2, a filter 3 and an air inlet, and the outer wall of the reactor is adiabatic and the reactants are continuously catalyzed from top to bottom. Circulating in contact with the bed, heat of vaporization for extracting the produced water is supplied through the heat exchanger 10 outside the reactor, and the circulation pump circulates the reaction product between the reactor and the heat exchanger to vaporize it. The azeotropic composition of water and alcohol is brought into contact with the alcohol refluxed in the column tower or the raw material alcohol supplied from the alcohol supply port at the top of the column, the high boiling point component is refluxed to the reactor, and the light component is condensed in the condenser 17 After being liquefied in, the organic layer was separated from the organic layer with a dicant, the organic layer was refluxed, and the produced water was removed.
