titleOfInvention Alkaline battery
abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] In an alkaline battery using a gelled negative electrode in which zinc or zinc alloy powder is dispersed in a gelled electrolyte consisting of an alkaline electrolyte and a gelling agent, continuous vibration and shock for a long time. It is an object of the present invention to provide an alkaline battery having a stable discharge characteristic even when continuously supplied. [Structure] A cross-linked polyacrylic acid salt type water-absorbing polymer and a linear polyacrylic acid or a salt thereof are used in combination, and further, a gel electrolyte containing these gelling agents is optionally added from indium, tin and bismuth. A gel electrolyte was prepared by adding at least one compound selected from oxides, hydroxides and sulfides of selected metals.
