titleOfInvention Method for producing silica-alumina fiber
abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] 1 mol of aluminum alkoxide is 0. A solution obtained by mixing a compound having an active hydrogen of not less than 03 mol and less than 0.2 mol was hydrolyzed with an organic solvent having a water content of 0.2 to 2.0% by weight, and then obtained. A method for producing a silica-alumina fiber, which comprises mixing a compound containing silicon with a hydrolyzate (polyaluminoxane), spinning this to obtain a precursor fiber, and then firing the precursor fiber. [Effect] Silica-alumina fibers having excellent spinning stability and mechanical strength can be obtained.
