abstract (57) [Summary] [Objective] To provide a method for producing a roughened polyimide film having excellent strength and heat resistance. [Constitution] 15 per total aromatic tetracarboxylic acid component 85 to 85 mol% of biphenyl tetracarboxylic acids Aromatic tetracarboxylic acid component consisting of 15 mol% of pyromellitic acid, and 30 with respect to wholly aromatic diamine component A polyamic acid obtained from an aromatic diamine component consisting of -100 mol% of phenylenediamines and 70-0 mol% of diaminodiphenyl ethers is cast on a support and heated to obtain a self-supporting film. After peeling the self-supporting film from the support, heating the film under the condition that the maximum heating temperature is higher than the glass transition temperature of the aromatic polyimide film to be obtained, including a fine 0.02-2 μm diameter film surface. 10 4 to 10 8 protrusions / A method for producing a roughened polyimide film present in a number in the range of mm 2 .
