titleOfInvention | Electrophotographic toner and manufacturing method thereof |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To provide an electrophotographic toner having transparency, which does not cause scatter of the toner and stains on the image, uneven transfer, and reduction in image density, and a method for producing the same. [Structure] Obtained when the electrophotographic toner is stirred and mixed under the same conditions for 20 seconds with respect to the charge amount Q 600 obtained by stirring and mixing the carrier for 10 minutes at room temperature and normal humidity with a toner concentration of 5%. An electrophotographic toner having an electrification rising ratio calculated by Z (%) = (Q 20 / Q 600 ) × 100 of 70 (%) or more, where Q 20 is the amount of electrified charge. In this toner, a mixture of a binder resin, a charge control agent and a colorant is preliminarily kneaded with an organic solvent at a temperature lower than the melting temperature of the binder resin, and the binder resin is further added thereto. It is produced by heating and melting and kneading the second step at a temperature higher than the melting temperature of the binder resin, cooling and solidifying, and then pulverizing. |
