titleOfInvention | Air-fuel ratio control device for internal combustion engine |
abstract | (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] When the control is switched from lean air-fuel ratio to stoichiometry, it is possible to prevent erroneous correction of the air-fuel ratio caused by the delay in switching the function of the oxygen concentration sensor. [Structure] An oxygen concentration sensor 34 has both functions of a lean sensor and an oxygen sensor, and its function is switched by switching the presence / absence of voltage application to the sensor 34. An electronic control unit (ECU) 41 feedback-controls the air-fuel ratio to lean or stoichiometric according to the operating state of the engine 1. The ECU 41 calculates a correction value based on the detection value of the sensor 34, and calculates a target injection amount based on the correction value. The ECU 41 executes feedback control of the air-fuel ratio by controlling the injector 5 based on the target injection amount. When the feedback control shifts from lean to stoichiometric, the ECU 41 forcibly determines that the air-fuel ratio is leaner than stoichiometric for a predetermined period and forcibly reverses the air-fuel ratio correction value in the increasing direction. |
