abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] A raw material containing at least a styrene-based monomer, an acrylonitrile-based monomer, and a rubber-like polymer is supplied to a polymerization step, and a part of the monomer is polymerized to produce a rubber-like polymer. Polymerization including formation of coalesced particles (rubber particles) is performed, and then, in a method for producing an ABS resin by bulk polymerization or solution polymerization that is introduced into an extruder, the polymerization liquid introduced at the inlet of the extruder has a resin solid content of 100% by weight. It contains 5 to 100 parts by weight of volatile components with respect to 10 parts by weight, the volatile components are removed in an extruder, the temperature of the resin is adjusted to 70 to 200 ° C., and then the resin is kneaded in the extruder. And a method for producing a high-gloss ABS resin. [Effects] The molded product of the resin obtained by the method of the present invention can control surface characteristics without deteriorating other physical properties such as impact strength, and thus is widely useful as a component in the industrial field such as electrical equipment and computers. Further, it is particularly useful as a molded product such as a cosmetic container, toy, stationery and the like.
