titleOfInvention | Endotoxin or nucleic acid remover |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Structure] An agent for removing endotoxin or nucleic acid, which comprises a bilayer membrane of N-alkyl chitosan into which a linear alkyl group having 16 to 20 carbon atoms is introduced. [Effects] The endotoxin or nucleic acid removing agent of the present invention efficiently removes endotoxin or nucleic acid from a protein solution containing endotoxin or nucleic acid that is an impurity of biological origin in a wide range of pH, ionic strength and buffer type. It can be selectively adsorbed and removed. |
