(57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a method for conveniently and accurately measuring HDL-cholesterol in serum or plasma. [Structure] A sample obtained from serum or plasma was treated with a solution containing a lipoprotein fractionating agent, and then the obtained mixed solution was treated with anionic surfactant, cholesterol esterase and cholesterol without separation treatment of solid and liquid. A method for measuring HDL-cholesterol in serum or plasma, which is kept at a constant temperature with a reagent containing oxidase, and measures the produced hydrogen peroxide, and a reagent therefor. [Effect] By containing an anionic surfactant, the cholesterol measuring reagent effectively acts on HDL-cholesterol. |
