titleOfInvention | Water treatment equipment |
abstract | (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] To provide a water treatment device that does not require chemical injection and is easy to operate. [Structure] Water to be treated is supplied to a cathode 8, an anode 9 and a diaphragm 1. The pH of the catholyte is further increased by supplying it to an electrochemical cell 1 which is provided with 2 and which forms a catholyte chamber and an anolyte chamber by a diaphragm, and applying a DC voltage to increase the pH of the catholyte. Is further reduced, and the obtained catholyte or anolyte having a desired pH is supplied to a catalyst-filled section 2 suitable for effectively promoting the intended redox reaction, and water treatment is carried out catalytically there. In the subsequent stage, the liquid that has passed through the catalyst-filled portion and the liquid that does not pass through the catalyst-filled portion are merged and recirculated. |
